Half Stories, Whole Truths
We always have this vision of how we want things to go.
Half stories,
Whole truths —
Truths we have to face
When the story finishes only half of her song,
Her end of the bargain.
Reality’s overture begins,
Staccato in nature,
Chopping away at stagnation
And making you face the whole of the melody.
Pick your part and hold fast to harmony.
Answers bellow deep.
A low rumble,
But their timing is impeccable —
There inside the whole while.
Finish your part.
See it through ’til the end
And know.
Know, so you can move on
And grow.
We want answers,
And we always have a vision about how we’re going to to go about getting them.
Half stories
For whole truths
We’re not ready for.

Beautiful poem! I love it, as usual!
The truth is if things don’t go the way we want them to, either we try harder and end up being satisfied or either give up. But in both cases, we’ll have learned something.
